Designing Forms - Alternate to InfoPath

InfoPath is a popular tool for creating user friendly, robust forms to get input data from users. It appears that InfoPath will no longer be supported in the near future.

What is an alternative in SharePoint 2013 (Office 365). How can we design user friendly data collection forms?

Thanks so much!

Hi Mayank,

You can modify default list forms by using javascript and jquery....

you can also create .aspx page with your own design and add bit of code to save data into the sharepoint list....

Mark it as answer if it is helpful........

Hi Mayank,

For ease of use, InfoPath is the way to go.  Outside of InfoPath, you can develop custom forms either in Designer or Visual Studio.  Either give you control over how to render elements.
