Deprovision Live@EDU Accounts
FIM "Server1" imports students from SQL to FIM... FIM to AD.. Provisions accounts.. moves OUs.. etc...... and deprovisions upon graduation FIM "Server1" imports students from AD to FIM (olsync) to Live@EDU... I have successfully deprovisioned "Graduated" User Accounts for Students from SISMA to FIMMA to ADMA on the FIM "Server1" and then from OnPremise on the FIM "Server2". Changed the Global Parameter DisableWindowsLiveID to true. Executed the Run Profiles Operations... -FirstRun. The Graduated Students have been removed from All the connector spaces and Metaverses of both systems with the exception of the Hosted MA out to LIVE@EDU. Will not delete the Live.com accounts for the students??? I then added the "Stage a delete on the Object next export" on both OnPremise and Hosted. I have added an "Object Deletion Rule" because I got no results after the Run Profiles Operations are complete. Still the students are in the CS for HOSTED and Live.com account still exists. Any ideas?

From the sound of it, you only want the "stage a delete" option on your Hosted MA (the one with the Live@edu accounts in the connector space). The object deletion rule applies to the metaverse object, so if you say your OLsync AD MA triggers a deletion of the metaverse object, that would also then trigger the deprovision option of your Hosted MA object which you have now correctly set to "stage a delete..." However, because those existing objects were already "deprovisioned" with the option of leaving them as disconnectors, the deprovision rule to stage a delete on the next export will not actually apply to them. To delete the objects that are already sitting as disconnectors in that connector space, you have two options: 1. Recreate the metaverse objects (potentially by creating them in AD again) and then run through the deprovision again. 2. Delete the Outlook Live objects via PowerShell scripts. Since you are operating in what I understand to be Microsoft's supported configuration, you should be able to get the free Live@edu Support to help you. You can submit a ticket through the Service Management Portal. Chris
