We have recently completed the process of adding an additional web front end server. Everything appeared to go ok and the publishing site is functioning correctly as before. However; when i access the solution store in Central Admin all of the solutions that are not globally deployed are listed as "Not Deployed". If i click into the solution it is listed as successfully deployed. The solutions are functioning normally because if they were not the site would not work. I have not done anything as i am wary of touching it in its current state. has anybody seen this before?

Hi, I think that means that your solution is not deployed on all your servers. I would suggest these steps : Either - log in to the newly added server and check if the SharePoint administration service is started. If it is, in a line command window, type : Stsadm -o execadmsvcjob s. If this does not resolve the problem, try, on the same server, to deploy your solution locally using : stsadm -o deploysolution -name YourSolutionName -url YourWebappUrl -local . May be you'll also need -allowgacdeployemen t or allowcasploicies parameters depending on your solution. Or - Retract and redeploy your solution from Central admin. This will make the functionalities installed by your solution unavailable during the deployment. Hope this helps.
