Hi Team,

I want to deploy windows 7(64 bit) on a VMware ESxi server by using SCCM task sequence .Please tell me can we image it using SCCM? If not please tell me what are the prerequisite for this.

Also tell me what is SCVMM (Virtual Machine Manager)? Is this used for deploying virtual machines? I don't have SCVMM, I only have SCCM 2012.

You can deploy VMs using ConfigMgr (i.e. you can install an OS in an existing VM).

SCVMM can be used to manage virtualisation hosts and guest - even VMWare. And yes there are overlapping functionalities. 

You can build the VM's same was as any physical machines.

Make sure you have appropriate VMWare drivers added to the driver package to support the OS Deployment.
