Deploy software for Surfaces enrolled by Intune

Hello,

I have a Intune Suscription managed by SCCM2012R2 and 10 Surfaces with Windows 10 pro enrolled on the "workplace" area...

Now i have problems to deploy software on the "company portal". The surface are detected as "mobile device" and SCCM only let me deploy .appx applications or links to the Store. Is it normal? With Intune Standalone I can deploy .msi and .exe whitout problems.

HELP PLS!!

Thanks!

When you used Intune standalone you've probably installed the Intune client on the Surface. The difference now is that you've enrolled the Surface as a mobile device. If you want to deploy MSIs you need to install a full agent. Depending on your requirements that can be either the ConfigMgr client or the Intune client.

If I enroll the surface with the Intune agent, I can not deploy the policys with SCCM. And I can not Install the ConfigMgr client in surfaces on mobility...

Unbeliveable deploy .exe and .msi with Intune Standalone and not with Intune + ConfigMgr...

Correct. When you deploy the Intune agent you need to manage the agent through the Intune console (and yes, that's possible even when you configured ConfigMgr as the mobile device authority). You can also deploy the ConfigMgr agent to your Surface, but the ConfigMgr agent can't use the Intune service. When you wan to manage your ConfigMgr agents over the Internet you need to use something like IBCM or DirectAccess.
