Hi , I am have developed a ssrs report by using ssrs 2008,visual studio 2008 and sharepoint 2010 list. I published my report in to the sharepoint library=report library. I uploaded the : 1. dataset .rsd file by changing the datasource name, into dataset folder in the report library 2. report file .rdl by changing the datasource name and shared datset name , into the report folder. I am able to bind the report with the shared datasource and shared dataset. When run the report in the report server, the output is not the sameas what i run in the visual studio. The table display only the header. There is no data display when i run the report. There are filter configured at the data region where user have to choose the category and date range for the output. Kindly please advice. Any advise is much appreciated.veethia

HI Asim, My issue here is, there are root folders and subfolders in the sharepoint list. I want to display all the all the items within the root folder and the subfolders. Please help help. I have already set the option Folder: to show all items without folder. Please help. This is the structure of the sharepoint list. on the main page of the list: /root folder (Malaysia)/(category: new hire )/category: termination)/category:transfer ) /root folder (England)/(category: new hire )/category: termination)/category:transfer ) /root folder UK)/(category: new hire )/category: termination)/category:transfer ) /root folder (Brazil)/(category: new hire )/category: termination)/category:transfer ) Please help how to retrive all of the itemss from those folders. I found out from a forum to use the this code in order to retrive the items from the subfolders: QueryOptions><Folder>folderName</Folder></QueryOptions>. Where to include this code? In the dataset where I include filter option? Please help. veethia

Hi Shree, According to your description, your report works fine when you run it in visual studio, so I would suggest you to publish your report project directly to report server (or SharePoint site) instead of upload them to the relevant server manually, and then the system would associate the relevant datasource and shared dataset to the relevant report automatically.
