Define location for ActionServer logs

Hello,

I've got Opalis Integration Server, Client 6.2.2.5229 installed and I'm trying to configure where my logs files are written to.  Using this URL : System Center Google Book I was able to determine where, in the registry, the OISClient logs are being written to, and define those.  But I'm having an issue with the OpalisActionService logs.  For me, those logs are being written to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Opalis Software\Opalis Integration Server\Action Server\Logs

And I want to write them to the E drive.  I have log purging setup but even with that set to run daily, my logs still sometimes get to large for my C drive.  Does anyone know where I can configure the OpalisActionService logs, so that I can have the written to a partition that is not the same as the OS?  Thank you so much.

Hello,

you can set the properties of the log in the Registry of each Action Server

  • on Windows 32bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Opalis\Opalis Integration Server\TraceLogger\OpalisActionService
  • on Windows 64 bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Opalis\Opalis Integration Server\TraceLogger\OpalisActionService

Edit: A restart of the Action Service is required to take settings affect.

Thank you so much.  That is exactly where I needed to make the change.  I also noticed I can change the log level there as well.  Thank you again.
