Default content type not visible under new button in document library
hi I have associated a content type using content binding. The content type is attached with the document list and is default one.I have checked the visible on new button but is not visible under "new" in document list. There is no other content type associated with the list except the default one. I have tried to add a new content type also through UI.It gets added but is not visible under "new".Any suggestion why is it happening?

Content type which I have added is correct. However to verify more,I have removed that content type and try to add default content type of sharepoint which is "document" for document libraries but then also that sharepoint content type is not visible under new button.Only folder icon is visible.Any more suggestions

Hi, Check whether client integration is enabled for the web application or not? To check: 1) Go to central administration 2) Navigate to "Application Management" page and under "Application Security", select "Authentcation providers" link. 3) Click on the name of zone (e.g. Default) under zone column. 4) On "Edit Authentication" page , check "Client Integration" section. Hope this helps. Regards.

Hi, When we click on "New Document" it launches client application (e.g. MS Office Word 2007) and disabling client integration remove features which launch client applications. Regards.
