Default content approval bug.

Hello!

I've found an interesting bug here, when content approval works incorrectly a bit (in my opinion).

To reproduce it enable "Require Content Approval" in List Versioning Settings and set that only author and users who can approve items can see drafts in a list.

Now, consider following:

1) Author creates an item (status Pending), he can see it

2) Admin approves an item (status Approved). Author can see it

3) Admin rejects an item (status Rejected). Author can't see it anymore!

If you have the same issue please help me to find a way to resolve it.

Best regards,

Anton.

Hi Martynenko

According to your post, my understanding is after the list item got rejected the author is not able to see the item. Rejected articles stay in the list or library until the originatoror someone else who has the necessary permissionsdeletes them.

Please refer the below link which has more information.
