Date picker not available for some users (MOSS 2007)
We have a Company Build desktop with WinXP Pro, Office 2003, IE6 sp2. Anyone know why some users get nothing happening when the datepicker is clicked (not even a white box, nothing). Background: We are currently testing a new site and the users are entering data in a List based on a selection of Content types. We have SPD WF in use but no code and no Javascript in the solution so far. 90% of users seem to be OK. Any ideas?Ruth, UK

Hi Ruth, Does the issue happen even if the affected user login to other machines? If not, the issue should be related with the configuration on these affected machines. Based on this article: Plan browser support (Office SharePoint Server), the date pickers in SharePoint should utilize ActiveX control named MSCOMCT2.OCX. You could try to download it from the following Microsoft Web site: http://activex.microsoft.com/controls/vb6/MSCOMCT2.CAB and register it and see if it helps. Hope the information can be helpful. Thanks for the replies so far. When pressed most users admitted that after about 6 seconds the calendar did show up. It appears that for us this is just a "very slow to load" problem. :-( Not alot we can do I guess?Ruth, UK
