Datasource using unattended report processing account won't let me build datasets using Report Builder 2.0
I have a datasource defined on a SP integrated instance of SQL RS 2008 that is configured to use the unattended report processing account so that I can create snapshots. When I create a report using Report Builder 2.0specifying that datasource and try to create a dataset I am prompted for data source credentials. When I attempt to specify credentials I receive the error:"You have specified integrated security or credentials in the connection string for the data source, but the data source is configured to use a different credential type. To use the values in the connection string, you must configure the unattended report processing account for the report server." I have the unattended account configured, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is this combination supposed to work? If so, what can I check to verify that I'm not doing something wrong? Thanks,Steve

I have this same problem; did you ever figure it out?

No I didn't. I worked around it by configuring the datasource in Sharepoint to run using stored credentials and then specified the same userid/password as the unattended report processing account. This allows me to create snapshots as well as use the same datasource with RB2.0.

Changing the connection string in the XML works. <ConnectionProperties> <DataProvider>SQL</DataProvider> <ConnectString>Data Source=DSQL;Initial Catalog=Database</ConnectString> <IntegratedSecurity>true</IntegratedSecurity> </ConnectionProperties>
