Data in Header (again) Strategy
I have seen a few different ways to get data from a dataset into a header for reporting, but not sure any of them apply to what I am doing. I could very well be doing something inefficient and causing my own problem, but here goes. I have a report that gathers the following: CG_Name, PC_ID CG_Name to PC_ID is a one-to-many relationship. Then I have 4 subreports that populate (with grouping) based on the parameter of PC_ID. These four subreports can each span several pages. I would like the CG_Name and PC_ID to be at the top of every page. Ideally I would also like the page count number to reset at every change of the PC_ID. Examples can be provided. Thank you, Jonathan C.

Hi There Thanks for your posting. From your description it looks like you need to have Page group in your report. You need to use the list control as SoyLover mentioned above please have a look on this thread that might help you http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlreportingservices/thread/ad615ff9-a006-4346-ba49-9fb753d80064/ Many thanks Syed Qazafi Anjum This is another helpful link http://jesborland.wordpress.com/2010/11/17/the-power-of-reporting-services-%E2%80%93-lists/
