Hi Hittin, Did you import any Management Pack before this issue happens? For example:Dell MP orExchange MP. There is a similar issue for your reference: http://www.systemcenterforum.org/kb/data-warehouse-managed-object-type-synchronization-process-failed-to-write-data-to-the-data-warehouse-database/#comment-5543 Hope it helps,Yog Li - MSFT

Hi,Unfortunately I cannot see how the link you provided relates. My issue states:Data Warehouse failed to request a list of management packsnotData Warehouse managed object type synchronization process failed to write data to the Data Warehouse databaseAnyway, I've seen my problem with more than 1 type of error, even though the errors are very similar.Like this:The request failed with HTTP status 401: UnauthorizedorThe request failed with HTTP status 503: Service UnavailableorThe timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not respondingI do NOT have (I would like it though, but I've heard of too many problems) the Dell MP installed, IDO have the Exchange MP installed. Are you saying I should runexec sp_updatestats on the SystemCenterDWDBanyway? If I want to use the Dell MP, should I install this one that has been modified with reduced SNMP ability (which causes Event ID 4000 problems which are STILL UNRESOLVED after more than 1 year)http://www.scom2k7.com/downloads/Dell.Connections.001.xmlSee Event ID 4000 for SCE at:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/systemcenter/thread/8db278a1-c9aa-46c4-a0ef-e4065c95bd93thanks

Well... This should already be solved for Hittin but, for anyone else that finds it:Did you change the account password?Verify Reporting Services AppPool... Then:aspnet_regiis -ga userdomain\useraccount for the account the application pool is running under and then restart iis and the application pooland configure reportserver user account.and appPool user...Regards,RFs

Got nothing from anyone. Microsoft just wants to push the 2010 version I presume. Open for correction of course, thanks
