I'm trying to figure out how this report works. It was deployed by a developer who has moved on and the data source in the rdl doesn't reference a data source on the server. Below is the best I could do to show the screen when you're in edit on a report and then click data sources. Below that is the DataSources section of the report rdl. So it appears the report rdl is referencing dsZircon via /Zircon Reports/ZirconCoreRptg (the report is in the same folder as the Data Source) I don't see why this is not failing. Hi Dan, Log on the Report Manager site using "Content Manager" user, open the report and click its Properties tab if the report works. In the Properties tab, click DataSources to go to the report DataSources page to check its actual referenced datasource. One more thing to mention is that ensure you logon report manager with sufficient permissions to check your reports and datasources, like "Content Manager" role. thanks. Jerry

Hi Jerry, I've done this previously. I can't seem to include a screen shot of the Properties but above I tried to represent what it looks like. Here it is again. I get to this page by clicking Show Details/Edit/Properties/DataSources. dsZircon A shared data source /Zircon Reports/ZirconCoreRptg Specify a shared data source So the properties appear to show dsZircon as the Data Source as does the report XML. But I cannot find a Data Source called dsZircon anywhere. There is a Data Source called ZirconCoreRptg. I might also add that as a test I've tried to upload a test report with dsZircon as the Data Source and it errors out, with something like 'the data source is no longer available. Since this is an older report is there some associated file that is maintaining a thread to dsZircon? dsZircon was the previous Data Source before we switched to ZirconCoreRptg. Thanks for any help.
