Right then, I have just created and configured new SSRS 2008 platform. In a new 2008 project, I created a DataSource and deployed it. I copied across all of my reports from an old 2005 project and opened them all up to allow the convert and then saved and closed. Now when I deploy a report, it gets to its detination OK but complins about the datasource. I then have to go into the report manager and manually select the data source for each report (of which there are loads). What can I check so that when I delpoy a brand new report onto the server, it automatically assigns the (only one I have) datasource to the report? My fault - cancel the request - I had a spelling mistake in my actual Data Source name. I corrected the spelling and they deploy and work straight away now!You can't dangle the bogus carrot of possible reconciliation in front of me whilst riding some other donkey
