Dashboard axis configuration

Hello, trying to display the number of sales vs. the transaction date. I am adding rows to a table in a dataset via the PowerBI API. They are coming like this:

I can't find any options to configure the axis! Ideally this should be grouped by day at least.

Thanks & Regards

The date sorting issue is an known issue, which will be fixed soon.

For  daily aggregation, I usually would suggest it done in data model, for example, by using a calculated column to extract the date. However, with PowerBI API we do not have a good way of changing the aggregation yet. Please help us to prioritize this feature by adding your request at:

As a side note, in case comparing In House Sales and Ecommence Sales by transaction date means anything to you, may you could consider using a combo chart to present both in one chart.

Ok....thank you! But this makes PowerBI API extremely limited for now. The only thing I can do is to display numbers in cards!

No ...there is no correlation between the two sales. Thanks.

Alternatively, you could add an additional date/month/year column the API, push to Power BI, then use that column as your chart axis for aggregation at data/month/year level. Smarter time intelligence is definitely something we want to improve on.
