Hi, I have a table with a DT_STR column I need to convert to currency. Among all the values, the ones with ',' seperators failed. In other instances, I have a different table with a DT_STR column to be converted to currency, the ',' seperator did not make any difference, they all converted fine. Why is this happening? Is there any way I can remedy this? I don't really want to rerun several years of BO reports just to format the field without the ','. Sincerely Thank You !

Perhaps the locale was different in this case? Certain cultures use commas as the decimal point... Regardless, you can use a Derived Column to strip out all comma characters with the REPLACE command. Talk to me now on
