Do I need to use Execute SQL task to write the query? I have the text file saved with column headers in order as needed. But I cannot see that order in the destination tab of transform task.

Is it DTS of SQL Server 2000? In SSIS (2205 and up) you merely map that.Arthur My Blog

Hello, In OLE DB Source, write your query that way you want, you can select the columns according to your choice and you can use Order by too and finally write to your destination. If you have flat file already connection already configured with old setting, remove that and recreate after preparing your query in correct format in OLE DB Source. ThanksAamir
