is it true sometimes we may need to delete some tasks , and the same kind of task in ssis . Example : My package is calling anothe package, that particular task was not converted. So i need to delete that task and add execute package task to make the new ssis package to work like DTS pacakge. thanks for info Aamir.

No, you don't need to delete the execute dts 2000 task if the child package is a DTS 200 package. If the child package is already converted to SSIS 2005 package, then you'll need to delete the execute dts 2000 task and add Execute Package task. Please mark as answer if this helps. In this case, you need to delete Analysis Services Processing task and the Data Mining Prediction task from your DTS 2000 package, and add them to your SSIS 2005 package after the migration in completed. Please mark as answer if this helps. Thank you. http://thebipalace.wordpress.com
