I am new to DPM. I have a question here in relation to DPM Azure Backup. Is it possible can I upload directly to Azure without any local storage ?

Hi,

No, DPM uses the replica volume as the source of the online recovery point for a protected data source.  If you are using DPM for tape only backups and you want to use Azure online backup the only way to accomplish that is to use Window Azure backup on the protected server directly.
