Hi,

I would like to change my sync schedule of exchange protectiongroup and do not know how to set it up correctly.

My Backup contains hyper-v and exchange backups in different protection groups.
The hyper-v backup runs at 22:30, the exchange backup at 20:30 with hourly sync.
While the hyper-v backup is running the sync job of the exchange protection group fails.
My goal is now to set the hourly sync job with a exclusion from 22:30 to 23:30.

How can I do that?

I wanted to give the registrychange a try, but "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Virtualization" does not exist on Windows Server 2012 R2.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Virtual Machine exists but no VssRequestor

Hi,

Try adding the missing path and see if that works.  If it does not, then the Windows folks will need to help find the same solution for Windows 2012.  Moving this post to Windows Hyper-v support.
