DPJobManager.exe doesn't see my distribution point
Hello,
I'm trying to use DPJobMgr.exe that is part of SCCM Configmgr 2012 R2 Toolkit. When I open it, I can connect to my primary site server. But when I go in the Overview tab, I receive an error that it can't find my distribution point.
My server is a primary server, SCCM 2012 R2 with the R2 tool
I can connect with the application but I can't see my distribution point... The error message is: No distribution point was found in this site
Can anybody explain to me why?

from what I can see it doesn't show a distribution point hosted on the primary site server, would this correspond to your setup ? if you have a remote distribution point, it should list those in the gui.

I concur with Niall. It doesn't make sense to use this tool for a DP on the site server itself as the content is already in the site server's contentlib so there's nothing to track.

What queue? In the case the DP is on the site server, they use the same content library so there's nothing to transfer, it's just there already.

Distributing content to clients has nothing to do with the DPJobMgr tool. This tool is for monitoring and managing content deployed to DPs.
You cannot prioritize traffic to clients. Clients request content whenever they need it and use BITS to download it.
What scenario exactly are you trying to ad

I have exactly the same problem at one of my customer's sites. The connection to the Primary Site Server works, but i can't see any of the 40+ Pull DPs.
The Environment is SCCM 2012R2 CU4.

That's by design. PullDPs are not listed, because they are not serviced by distmgr.
