Hi,
Unfortunately, dism is only available with Windows 7/Windows Server 2008 R2, not Windows Server 2008.

Hi Vincent,
I am using DISM to install/check IIS features, Is there is any fix for WS2008 (32bit) if i want to continue using DISM on WS 2008 (32 bit) ?
Any MS updates are there to use DISM on Ws2008 32 bit , It is available on windows 7 32 bit so can it be used with 2008 ?
In msdn link(http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd744256(WS.10).aspx) it is mentioned that It can be used to service Windows Vista® with Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows Server® 2008, Windows® 7, Windows Server® 2008 R2, or Windows PE images.
Does this mean it can be used on 2008 as well ?
Thanks
Saurabh

Hi,
It can be used to service Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows Server 2008.
>> You cannot install DISM on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 and use it, but you can use DISM to deploy the them.
For more information, you can refer to:
