DHCP Options Not Applying
When option 66 in DHCP manager is configured for the new SCCM server, and DHCP service is restarted for making changes active, the only thing it can be is IP helpers on the switch that are configured to the old WDS server (as Jörgen Nilsson mentioned also)! My ConfigMgr blog: http://henkhoogendoorn.blogspot.com Follow me on Twitter: @henkhoogendoorn

I would check with some of the Networking guys Are the clients on the same VLAN as the WDS server? Regards, Jörgen-- visit my System center blog at http://ccmexec.com --

Hello I am in the process of moving from WDS standalone to SCCM OSD. I have changed DHCP options on my DHCP server and computers are still booting from the old WDS Server. I have even tried creating a new DHCP server with a clean database and stopping the old one. Clients are still looking at the old WDS server. Any thoughts? Regards Peter Deegan

Hi, Have you been using IP Helpers in switches or routers before which are pointing to the "old" WDS server? Regards, jörgen-- visit my System center blog at http://ccmexec.com --
