DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer LONGGONE using any of the configured protocols
Yes, there are lots of results when googling this but none seems to provide a solution. In my case, it is simple, the old AD server LONGGONE is long gone. I don't need to communicate to it, I need to stop it. Where do I find the entry or reference so that this new server trying to look for LONGGONE can stop giving me this error. Thank you, Derek

You really need to give more details of your situation. Is this even a System Center Configuration Manager question (yes, this is a ConfigMgr forum)? Is LONGGONE a DC that was improperly decommissed?
