I am having multiple library in on Sharepoint 2013 portal. This library contains thousands of documents. Can I make a search on specific column in SharePoint. Can I customize it up to that level.

Hi,

Yes, you can do the search based on the specific column.  You need to follow these steps

• Create a Managed Property in the Search Schema based on the document column
• Run the full crawl
• You can search the specific Managed Property in the search box as follows, for example for search documents only you can type in the search box

IsDocument:1

It will results all documents.
