Custom value for a group
Hello. I have a question on SSRS. Let me describe the task... I have a dataset. On of the analytics in this ds is for example PRODUCT. I have 4 different products P01,P02,P03,P04. I would like to group these products on columns the following way: GROUP1 - P01,P02 and GROUP2 - P03,P04. I've created a calculated column in the dataset for this purpose. Now I am able to group products. The thing is that I want to see the value of P01 as the total value of GROUP1 and not the sum of P01,P02. Is it possible somehow? Thank you.

Thank you for your reply when Group1 is collapsed, it shows the value P01+P02... I would like to show only the value of P01... And when the group is expanded, both values P01 and P02

Hi Serge3k, In Reporting Services, we can add a visibility toggle when we want to enable a user to interactively show or hide report items or, for a table or matrix, rows and columns associated with a group. When a group is collapsed, it will display the summary data in the group automatically. This is by design. I recommend you that submit this suggestion at https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/. If the suggestion mentioned by customers for many times, the product team may consider to add the feature in the next SQL Server version. Your feedback is valuable for us to improve our products and increase the level of service provided. Thanks for your understanding. Regards, Bin LongPlease remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.
