I have a custom vacation/appointment workflow that is working well on SharePoint 2010. I've recreated it in SPD2013 but several things are not working, which I will address in separate posts. The workflow is based off a 'pending requests' calendar. Based on conditions in the workflow, new items are created on the 'master' calendar.
The workflow first checks the 'type' of request and if it is anything other than 'vacation' or 'out', then it should create a new item in the Master Calendar. The workflow is supposed to take information input in custom columns in the 'pending requests' calendar item and create a new text string (EX: [%Current Item:Name%]: [%Current Item:COURT: City/Division%]/[%Current Item:COURT:Case Number%] ([%Current Item:COURT: Defendant Name%]) = "Chris: OPPD/00CL0000 (Doe)") which appears as the title of the new item on the 'master' calendar. But it isn't doing this. Instead the event title in the 'master' calendar appointment is the same title of the event on the 'pending requests' calendar and not the new text string. Is there something different with SPD2013 and having a workflow create a new calendar event?
