Custom Striplines using SSRS 2008 R2
I have searched around many forums to find an answer to my problem. Most people ended up saying that if you use the separate Dundas controls for SSRS, you can modify striplines in code, and therefore create any that you want customised. Since Dundas can no longer sell these controls because Microsoft bought them, how do I do it now??? Basically I have a range chart, set up to look like a Gantt chart. I have my X axis as Time, and two categories on my Y axis, Action Group and Action. Also in my dataset, each action has a person assigned to it who performed the action. I wanted to use striplines to somehow dynamically show which person was in charge over which times. Each person has a colour and I was hoping that I could somehow add this operator data into my range chart somehow. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I go about this? Thanks in advance

Hi ClareMoore, Could you please give more explanation about "I wanted to use striplines to somehow dynamically show which person was in charge over which times. Each person has a colour and I was hoping that I could somehow add this operator data into my range chart somehow." It will be better if you could give some Image to demonstrate your requirement. Besides this, I would recommend you read this thread, it might give you some insight points:http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-NZ/sqlreportingservices/thread/b32a27aa-9a6d-44b4-b1a0-1feb418c238a Thanks, Challen FuChallen Fu [MSFT] MSDN Community Support | Feedback to us Get or Request Code Sample from Microsoft Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.
