Hi, Our portal application has deployed with two servers one for SP and another one DB. We are doing the process of SharePoint server hardware replacement activity. We are using to connect the exiting DB for configuration DB. 03/02/2010 11:04:28 8 ERR Task adminvs has failed with an unknown exception 03/02/2010 11:04:28 8 ERR Exception: System.InvalidOperationException: Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object. at Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPContentDatabase.ValidateDatabaseSchemaCompatibility() What could be the reason for the error and how to resolve to proceed further steps on configuration wizard? Any help is much appreciated. What does "comparability" mean in the sentence below ? SP: MOSS 2007 with 64 bit comparability Are you having problems at the stage of doing a standard installation of MOSS (including which SP?) on an otherwise empty server apart from the OS, or are you installing to use a copy of the database(s)? FAQ sites: (SP 2010) http://wssv4faq.mindsharp.com; (v3) http://wssv3faq.mindsharp.com and (WSS 2.0) http://wssv2faq.mindsharp.com Complete Book Lists (incl. foreign language) on each site.
