Crystal to SSRS migration.... Creating a SSRS report... Help needed.
yes you can have multiple detail rows. Just select the table itself and you should get some handles on the left, right clicking allows you to add rows. You can also have multiple rows for each group...group nesting is also something you can do if you need a group inside a group. To do what your showing where you'd have a label on the left and value on the right, you'd most likely want to edit the expression for each field, or just add a column for the lables and then the field value next to it.Living my life at 123mph in 11.15 seconds

Kumar my question is Okay if you select a table for the report and you have a column called workorder right? my report is about released invotry but not shipped yet. for a customer there can be multiple workorders... based on workorder number(s) can i get all the related columns to repeat for more than one workorder.. if i have 1 workorder then its fine i can see it on my report but if i have more than 1 work order i should see it right? plus do i have to use tabular report to repeat the details or can i create a report out of individual text boxes? Do you follow?FM

Okay may be i i cant find the correct work but the report i am given to create goes like this Customer : Abc Signed by: xyz Shipper : DHL St: 100 Main rd Destination : New yOrk New York <New York ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Items Ordered ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Item id: 123 Itemname: Dell Laptop tracking number : xxy123 Manufact: Dell Ref # : 000001 Shiiped by: neha Notes: Ref 2 : 00000001 AFE Number: 2545121 Description: Sam order one laptop.....so on Thats the idea... I basically want to create the above describe report. I am having hard time as far as layout and the look goes if i create a table report i dont think it has the look.. I cant just have each column in a text right?... Also i want Items orderderd section to repeat as many items are ordered in the same format... The look i am talkin bout is more like a invoice... not a tabular with rows and column. Does that makes sense? FM
