Creating override for my onw group! My groups now showing up
I am trying to target a specific computer group and using the method shown here http://scug.be/blogs/dieter/archive/2011/06/20/scom-2007-target-a-rule-or-monitor-to-a-computer-group.aspx My problem is that when I am at the point where i am looking for my group my group is not showing up in the list? No "Homemade" groups are listed Any ide why. The group is there! I have searched under groups Svavar

If you are setting an override for a custom rule that is in an unsealed management pack, then only groups that are also in the unsealed management pack will be visible. Unsealed management packs can't reference other unsealed management packs. You'll need to create the rule and group in the same management pack. If you're setting an override for a rule that is in a sealed mp, you need to select 'for object of another class' and find your group.http://OpsMgr.ru/

Thank you guy's. Due to a change in our naming convention I used the oppertunity to create a new MP for this rule. I will now go back an make the new rule in the same "Homemade" MP and then my problem will be solved. Svavar
