Creating a Sharepoint environment
I am NOT technical. I need to create a SharePoint 2007 site as a 'playground' to practice for work. From TechNet, I installed Windows Server 2003 R2 with SP2. I then tried to install SharePoint 2007 but I get a message that Windows Server 2003 SP1
needs to be installed first. What EXACTLY do I have to download/install, in what order, to get a sharepoint site that I can work on?? Please please please help!!!!?? Thanks!

Hi,
This is the order of steps you need to install Sharepoint 2007 on a Single Box
1) Install Windows Server 2003 SP1
2) Install Service packs
3) Install SQL Server (SQL Server 2005/SQL Server 2008) - If you want separate SQL server
4) Install SharePoint 2007
