Creating a SharePoint online solution and attempting to install it on premises generates errors

Hello,

I have created a SharePoint system online and am attempting to create a solution (WSP) for deployment on-premises.

I used SharePoint Designer 2013 to create a template and then attempted to upload it into the solutions gallery on an on-premises system.

However, when attempting to Activate the WSP file on the on-premises SharePoint 2013 server, I get the following error message

Feature definition with Id 914e13f2-1599-4d20-b87d-f89736bbfd8a failed validation, file 'Technical Sheets V1.0ListInstances\ElementsFields.xml', line 1160, character 265: The 'ListInternal' attribute is not allowed.

If I turn the WSP into a CAB file, extract the files, and look in the {listName}/ONet.xml  I note that feature "914e13f2-1599-4d20-b87d-f89736bbfd8a" is a "List Feature" and has a Property "GeneratedBySaveAsTemplate"

In an attempt to fix this, I have tried removing all lines with the ListInternal attribute in the "ElementsFields.xml"; rebuilding the cab file; renaming as wsp" and trying to upload the solution again.

Problem is I just get even more errors.  Some are referring to features that do not exist with an on-premises SharePoint 2013 installation.

There must be a fix or a workaround out there!

Anyone know?

/Marcus
