Creating Templates and logging
Hi Everyone, We have both SQL 2005 and 2008R2. So by next year we are planning to move al the packages and reports into SQL 2008R2. Now we are using both 2008R2 and 2005 packages. While migrating we are planning to create logging and templates. So i have to have idea about them ,Can any one please let me know. Thanks, jyotsna

While migrating... you need to be very careful about which version you're using to edit your packages. Once opened and saved in 2008R2, your packages won't be able to be edited or run in BIDS/SSIS 2005. Apart from that, the logging and templating capabilities of SSIS are indistinguishable between those versions. Talk to me now on
