Hi, I have tried to create fact relationship. I followed steps in Moc and microsoft articles. the prblem is in dimension usage, fact relationship is not automatically detected between Order Details dimension and Internet sales Measure Group. When I set the relationship type to fact manually by myself i get the following error: All fact Dimensions in a measure group must be roles of the same database dimension Please advise

I guess there is a problem in creating the dimension. When you are creating the fact relationship the key attribute of the dimension should be a column from the fact table that your measure group is based on. Ex - I am creating a dimension called invoice and when selecting the main table in the dimension wizard the table has to the fact table and the key column has to be the invoiceno in the fact table. If your using two seperate tables then you would get an error.
