Hi all, I created a test MP (Test System) with an Distributed Application (Test App) that consist of one SQL DB and one SQL Agent Job, quite easy things to monitor. The monitoring works fine, there is one thing we miss: We want to create an email subscription with notifications _only_ for this Management Pack (or for this Distributed Application accually). I have tried to use "raised by any instance of specific class" and then chose "Test System" and selected the three classes created in the Distributed Application (DB, Job, Test System), but when manipulating the sql job fo fail the Distributed application changes to warning state, but the notifications never arrive. If I create a new subscription and choose for example all sql server 2008 agent jobs, the notifications comes to my mailbox, so there is nothing wrong with the email settings. We don't want to get spammed with alerts for everything, we just want to get email notifications for each system we implement monitoring on, one by one. Thanks in advance
