Create an Calendar entry in Outlook 2010 via SharePoint 2013

Hello guys,

I would like to know how I can add an Calendar entry via a SharePoint Designer 2013 Workflow.

Is this possible? I do I need to write code to fulfill this?

Hi Matthias,

SharePoint workflow instance is running on each SharePoint list item level, if you want to create SharePoint calendar list item then sync to Outlook 2010, we can firstly add new SharePoint calendar list item via workflow, then use "Connect to Outlook" button to sync SharePoint calendar into a SharePoint claenar copy within Outlook.

If you want to create/update the Outlook personal calendar (stored in Exchange), we cannot use SharePoint workflow to achieve that, you may need to develop the custom code to call exchange web service to add new calendar item in Outlook/Exchage.
