Hi Dileep, As I sugget for time being is to use wizard for this, where you can select groups and sub-groups. Then you can use below toturial for some detaild info. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms167305.aspx- Chintak (My Blog)

Hi Dileep, Thanks for your question and Chintak’s professional reply. According to your description, you would like to create a report with one group nest in another group in Report builder. Below I will illustrate it for you step by step as an addition: 1. Switch to the Insert Menu panel, then click Table to select Table item. 2. Drop it on the report Designer surface, and Stretch to appropriate size. 3. Drag the fields from the Report Data panel to the Table (Please leave out the fields you would like to group on). 4. Drag a field(which would be used as a parent group) from Report Data panel to the Row Groups Panel above Detail. 5. Drag another field(which would be used as a child group) from Report Data panel to the Row Groups Panel below the group you has just created in 4th step . Note: You can drop the field above or below the group hierarchy using the guide bar to place the group as a parent group or a child group to an existing group. More information about How to: Add or Delete a Group in a Data Region (Report Builder 2.0), please refer to the link below: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd220419(v=sql.100).aspx If you have anything unclear, please feel free to let me know. thanks, Bill Lu
