Hi All, I am using WSS3.0 and created a site. I have created a document library in it. When i click on 'New' button of document library, i noticed we can create either Word file or New Folder. I need to give option to create Excel file along with Word file and New Folder. It means that, when user will click on New, system should give option to crete new Word file, Excel file and Folder. I dont know it is possible or not. If yes, can anyone guide me how to achieve this? Thanks in advanced. -Kaustubh

Hi Raj, Thanks for your reply. I went through the links you provided. It helps me a lot to know new things of content types. But I dont get the answer there of, can we create two different documents (lets say word and excel) directly in document library of WSS 3.0? There is a statement in 2nd link; "With a few MOSS clicks, you can support different document types with their associated metadata in your MOSS document library." So is it mean i can't creaate two different documents in single doc library as I am using WSS3.0? Is it possible only in MOSSS? I can upload two different docs into single doc library. But what i want to do is, to customize the 'New' button of doc library so that user will able to create both word and excel document. Thanks again. I really appriciate your help.-Kaustubh
