Hi, Are you deploying report directly from BIDS? Is reportserver is on same host where you deploying report? as you are using URL: http://localhost:8080/ReportServer Try to open URL: http://localhost:8080/ReportServer and see if it working or not?Cheers Sunil Gure

Ok, this is the actual error in background. There can be multiple reason for this error. Try resolving the permissions using KB: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa337279.aspxCheers Sunil Gure

Hi Varun, As Sunil posted, this issue occurs when a user does not have permission to perform the action. So please first the ensure to grant sufficient permission to the user. For more information, please refer to Role Assignments at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms156406.aspx However, if you have been already granted to access Report Server or publish report, you may run into the problem caused by the User Account Control (UAC). For the detailed explanation and solutions, please refer to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb630430.aspx Thanks, Tony ChainTony Chain [MSFT] MSDN Community Support | Feedback to us Get or Request Code Sample from Microsoft Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.
