Copy reports to a different folder on Report Server
My report server has 2 folders: ProductionReports - about 50 reports AND TestReports - 0 reports
I want to copy all the reports from Production to Test. One method is to save each Prodcution .rdl then upload each one to Test and then change its datasource. This will take a long time!!!! Is there a way and can copy them all together and then
go change their data source? I am hesitant to deploy the reports from VS because I don't know if the project has the correct report versions (it is not my server).
Is there an easier way to do this? Thanks!!!! Linda

Hi Linda, if its the same data source for all the reports then you can copy all the report .rdls and assign them that data source. but if its a specific data source, i mean every report has different data source. then u gotta do one by one.

There is a Cool tool that someone created just to do this! It works great just make sure you read all the information or else you can modify your production environment. It's called RSScripter and i use it all the time. It saves TONS of
time!!
here's the link (and it's free!)
