Copy email into sharepoint list
Hi, I am Basil Abraham, and I am new to the SharePoint. I just need to copy an email from my email address (which is in the active directory) in to a SharePoint list.I am using MOSS 2007. Please Help me out... Thanks in advance... Regards Basil Abraham

Try Following the below steps. On Sharepoint create new Discussion list called "Email list" Click on Actions in the list created, Connect it to Outlook In Outlook create rule for important contacts that copies/moves messages to Sharepoint list or drag and drop specific emails into Sharepoint library. Thanks for the reply... But My Actual Requirement is Configure MOSS to receive the mailbox emails for the following email addresses: Let say basil@xyz.com. And I need to set some rules for copying also.I need to copy only emails from client@example.com . And need to Create a folder structure in the Document Library. Lets say Client->DocType.And to copy the attachment from this email(client@example.com) to this folder. Please Help me out... Thanks in advance... Regards Basil Abraham

Hi, First you need configure incoming email service. http://blogs.msdn.com/b/selvagan/archive/2008/01/26/incoming-email-configuration-moss.aspx http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262947.aspx Second you want to Create a folder structure for incoming email, you can create Event Handle or workflow to do this when the email be created in list.
