Copy and paste SSRS controls
When you copy and paste an SSRS control, eg textbox is there any rule that governs where on your report the copied item appears? I feel it is completely random. You just have to paste and then drag it to wherever you want. Is there a way I can paste it at exactly the location where I want it?Regards Partha Mandayam IT Consultant Invacare http://weblogs.asp.net/pmandayam http://partha.tripod.com

Hi , Generally, when we copy and paste a control, the new control will be placed at the center of the report Body. For example, if the Textbox Size is 1in*0.4in and the report Body Size is 6in*4in, when copy and paste the textbox, the Location of the new textbox is (6-1)/2 * (4-0.4)/2in. However, as you posted, it would be more user-friendly if we can paste it at exactly the location where we want it. So, please submit your suggestion at http://connect.microsoft.com/SqlServer/.
