Control flow tasks running out of order
You don;t need to use sequence containers for this. You must have connected your tasks together in the wrong order i.e. you had the arrow head pointing to theExecute SQL Task instead of pointing to the Data Flow TaskJeff Wharton

I've got two tasks. The first is an execute SQL task and the second is a data flow. It runs the data flow first, then the SQL task. This is backwards. Deleting the arrow and replacing it didn't help anything. What's the mystery to this?

Can you share a picture of that?Arthur My Blog

Don't know how to do that.
Anyway I put the tasks in separate sequence containers and it runs in the correct order now.

There must be no need for what you have done.
