Contract Exception in ATA Gateway

Hello,

I have two VM's (the Center and Gateway) set up in Hyper-V with port mirroring and a test lab domain controller (the domain is named atatestlab.com with the NetBIOS name ATATESTLAB). I only receive some information from my domain controller, and when looking through my gateway logs I found multiple instances of the following error when my gateway was first created. How should I resolve this?

Hi,

These errors are normal is a scenario before the Domain Controller and/or credentials have been configured for the gateway.

Do these errors persist?

Also - what do you mean by "receive some information from my domain controller"? do you refer to the profiles of entities (users/groups) or the network traffic?

Can you share some more information on that?

Thanks,

Microsoft ATA team.

I think that the contract issue is resolved, thank you.

As for the information, I am finding that the information shown for each user does not reflect real-time data. For example, if I create a new user "SysAdmin" and I log in as that user onto my domain controller, this does not show up in Activities or in "Computers recently logged onto by this user". I also do not see changes to particular AD objects by users in their drill-down. Is this by design, or is this an issue of data not being correctly parsed/gathered by the ATA Center machine? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I'm happy the contract exception issue was resolved.

Does the issue if "not show up in Activities or in "Computers recently logged onto by this user" occur only for newly created accounts or do you experience the same issues for existing accounts?

Regarding the "do not see changes to particular AD objects by users in their drill-down" - Are we talking about the entity profile - Activities tab?

Can you please provide some more details on whats missing/expected behavior?

Thanks,

Microsoft ATA team.
