Hi,

I've got hierarchy of CAS and 3 Primary site(s).  So far our content distribution has been focused around the DP's in our data center, and no issues encounterd with this distribution.

We started last week with distribution of Content to our "Remote DP's" around the globe, and here I'm starting to see issues and particulary for 1 Primary Site (America's)

I've done initial test of 5 applications to be distributed to these DP's and only 75% successful, and the failures where all under my Primary Site in the America's.  THe logs did not show much info, my DP's were all up and running, so I've used workaround I found to "Update Content" and this triggered new distribution and this time it went through to all my DP's including the America's.  

Yesterday I've done similar distribution but using my OS Images for Windows 7, and again face the same issue, 75% successful but all pending for the America's, so I like to understand better what is happening and what can be done to resolve this.

Environment is running System Center 2012 Sp1 CU2, all my DP's are server class hardware running Windows 2008 standard.

Seems as if the compressed package sources did not arrive at the primary site where the DP belongs to. Check sender.log on the CAS if that's still in progress.

I've checked and the compressed package source are present on my Primay site.  Like I've said before I've already distributed these images to my Data center DP's (including America's) sometime ago, nothing has changed in the image and I'm now only trying to expand my DP count and start distribution around teh globe.

I've checked SMSPKG directory on my 3 primary sites and they contain the same compressed package for these Image files, with same date and size.

Line "A distribution point has been changed at this site" that refers to the fact that I expanded the scope and want to distriubte this image to additonal DP's. I've setup DP Group to which I have assigned the content.

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?

Since no one has answer this post, I recommend opening  a support case with Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) as they can work with you to solve this problem.
