We are trying to deploy a publishing site to an empty blank site as per documentation from Operations -> Deployment paths and jobs. The job has been running for 30 hours and teh status still shows exported objects increasing very slowly. We have tried this several times and on many servers. Is this a known issue? Is there something that can be done to speed this up? I am guessing the incremental deployment will be faster but we never got to deploy the full content yet. The size of the database for the site is about 5 GB, but it has many versions and I am expecting the latest site to be about 100 - 200 MB most. Any answers would be highly appreciated. We are working with Microasoft support, but they have not been able to resolve or give an answer yet. Thank you ...

Anybody else running into this problem? Does anyone have a successful deployment running on a regular interval? I'd like to hear your experiences.

Can anyone answer this question???? Mine is only 50MB, already 24 hours!!!
