Content deployment error
Hello,I am trying to migrate MOSS 2007 site collection tio another one, empty, site collection. SOURCE: MOSS 2007 English SKU with Serbian Language pack (installed after it became available)DESTINATION: EMPTY MOSS 2007 EN with Serbian-Latin Language pack. Here are errors in detail:Could not find language Serbian (Latin, Serbia). at Microsoft.SharePoint.Deployment.ImportRequirementsManager.VerifyInstalledLanguage(String id, String name) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Deployment.ImportRequirementsManager.VerifyLanguage(SPRequirementObject reqObj) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Deployment.ImportRequirementsManager.Validate(SPRequirementObject reqObj) at Microsoft.SharePoint.Deployment.ImportRequirementsManager.DeserializeAndValidate() at Microsoft.SharePoint.Deployment.SPImport.VerifyRequirements() at Microsoft.SharePoint.Deployment.SPImport.Run() Content deployment job 'Remote import job for job with sourceID = ***' failed.The exception thrown was 'Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException' : 'Could not find language Serbian (Latin, Serbia).' This error is raised if system is not rebooted after installation of language pack, as mentioned in thread started by Bobkruit, here: http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1909151&SiteID=1. I can confirm that behavior. Just to mention that system will not ask for a reboot after installation of Serbian language pack.HTHDragan

Thanks Dragan for the useful post..It took me lot of time of time to find this out. The system needed to be rebooted after installing the language service pack.Sami
