Content Scheduling System Notification
Hello, My sharepoint site has variations enabled with some errors, some users are receving and email with the following: You are receiving this e-mail because you are the contact for english<xxx>. The variation system encountered an error and was unable to create one or more of the variations. Please try to create the variation manually. If you continue to encounter errors, you can find more information in the log entry for this job here<xxx/_Layouts/VariationLogs.aspx> How can we disable these notifications and were can we change the contact information users? Hi, You can disable the notifications through 1) Go to your top-level site > site actions > modify all site settings > site collection administration > variations > variation settings page 2) Select do not automatically create site or page variations in automatic creation section. 3) Uncheck the check box in notification section. I think you cannot change the contact information users for the notifications are sent to the owners of the site or page as default (cannot be changed). Hope it is helpful! Seven
